Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first member of his family members to be born. After his primary and secondary education, he attend Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc in Architecture.
AAU also awarded the honourary Doctor of Science prize. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they have two children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome delved into ministry when he was an undergraduate student at AAU. The Believers' LoveWorld fellowship, today Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (YFC) was at the time known as the Believers' LoveWorld fellowship.
YFC was growing and eventually became the largest fellowship on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Pastor Chris's Ministry includes four branches: publishing ministry; healing ministry; television ministry and the teaching ministry. These ministries are what was used to develop the healing school, the space for miracles and Pastor Chris's prayer network worldwide.

These children and their communities are supported by the foundation's participatory and sustainable interventions. These include programs for childcare including child development programmes, as well as programs to strengthen families.
Trauma Care International Foundation
The Trauma Care International Foundation was founded to improve the quality of life and the overall health of communities and nations through promoting improved emergency response services for accidents and emergencies. The foundation will achieve this feat by supporting national policies related to trauma care and health education.
The foundation has provided over a thousand first aid safety, emergency response courses. They have taught thousands of police officers, teachers and caregivers as well as road transport workers.
Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps, a christian medical outreach, is dedicated to providing aid material as well as medical assistance and education for internally displaced people as well as refugees from areas affected by natural and man-made catastrophes.
