Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first of his family members to be born. He went to primary and secondary school. After that, he went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria in which he earned a BSc. in Architecture.

YFC was growing and eventually was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church's headquarters. Believer's LoveWorld today has millions of associates and followers all over the globe.
Through its 2002 environment for miracles, BLW was the most prominent Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The show was canceled by the president Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.

The TraumaCare International Foundation was founded to improve the quality of life and health for local communities. Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps, a Christian medical outreach, is dedicated to providing aid supplies, medical assistance and education to people who are internally displaced as well as refugees from regions that have been affected by natural or man-made disasters.
This outreach consists of a network made up of paramedics, christian health workers as well as students from all across the globe. The volunteers offer relief aid, medical treatment and sustainable solutions to those living in communities and areas that are in crisis.
