Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome, and was born December 7, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. He was a pupil at the secondary and primary school. After that, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria, where he got an BSc. in Architecture.
AAU also gave him an honourary Doctor of Science Award. He holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

While still attending AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey into the field of ministry. The Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC).

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Through the"Atmosphere for Miracles" series, BLW became Africa's most popular Christian ministry on television. The programme was canceled in May 2004 by the president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that churches would no longer broadcast miracles on television.
Pastor Chris's Ministry consists of four parts: publishing ministry (healing ministry), television ministry (teaching ministry) and healing ministry (publishing ministry). These ministries are what was used to develop the healing school, the setting for miracles and the global prayer network of Pastor Chris.

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation, an initiative aiming to increase the potential of leadership in Africans were born, was established. The foundation recognizes and encourages youngsters Africans who have demonstrated exemplary leadership by impacting their generations positively. They do this by educating and guiding youngsters and encouraging youth empowerment.
Oyakhilome The foundation recognizes the efforts of these young leaders with an award ceremony known as the Future Africa Leaders"Award. This award ceremony which started 5years ago, is held on the eve of every year's new year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena (LCA) Billings Way, Oregun, Ikeja. The winners are presented with an award by Reverend Chris Oyakhilome (President of BLW).
The InnerCity Mission For Children
The InnerCity Mission for Children is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was established in 2005, to reach the most vulnerable, poor, orphaned and vulnerable children living as destitute around the globe..
Through participatory and sustainable programs The foundation helps families and children who are in need. These include child development programmes for childcare, strengthening family programmes as well as InnerCity Mission for Children School.
Trauma Care International Foundation
The Trauma Care International Foundation was founded to enhance the quality of life and the general health of communities and nations by promoting better emergency response services for accidents and emergencies. The foundation is able to help in the implementation of the national policies for trauma treatment by providing the advocacy process, health education, and community-based initiatives.
More than 1000 courses in first aid, safety and emergency management have been conducted by the foundation. Their record shows that they were able to educate thousands of teachers, students, law enforcers as well as caregivers and road transporters.
Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps, a religious outreach of the church that is dedicated to providing aid materials as well as medical assistance and education for internally displaced people and refugees in areas that have been affected by man-made and natural disasters.
The outreach is comprised of a group of christian health workers, paramedics and students from across the globe. The volunteers provide medical treatment as well as emergency assistance and long-term health care solutions for communities and regions that are in need.
VMC also provides health care services to underserved communities and also provides manpower training to local health workers. VMC is open to anyone whose main goal is to improve health and offer humanitarian assistance to those most in need.
