NEW YORK – Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for tourist arrivals in Israel from the United States in July and august. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans in July 2022. This was a 4 percent increase from 2019, while 71,000 American tourists were in Israel during August 2022.
"It is thrilling to witness a new increase in tourism to Israel from the United States, already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking numbers for the year 2019," stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States is the most popular destination for Israel inbound tourism.
