NEW YORK – Sept. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. The country received 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 that's an increase of 13% from 2019.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was exciting to observe the growth in Israeli tourism from the United States. Canada, not too far from that of the United States of America, is set to beat the tourist numbers to Israel. The country had 7,200 tourists in July 2022 as well as 6,000 tourists in August.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million global tourists, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since the country's official opening to everyone regardless of their the status of their vaccination in May of this year The country has witnessed over 600,400 US visitors.
